Spinning Machines
WALTEC’s S-Series combines ESERVO drive technology with flexible, precise glass spinning.
Available with 9, 18 or 24 stations, the machines achieve output rates of up to 90 pieces per minute and can produce up to three different articles simultaneously. Independently controlled spinning spindles, variable gob weights and adjustable speed profiles ensure consistent quality, even for smaller batches. Efficient cooling, operator-friendly controls and synchronized HVC vacuum take-out support continuous production.
With quick changeovers, reduced energy consumption and reliable handling, the S-Series delivers versatile performance for modern tableware and cookware manufacturing – Made in Germany.

Combined with the linear ESERVO feeder for variable gob weights, the S-SERIES can produce up to three different articles simultaneously.
The process sequence can be configured individually for each article. Acceleration values, variable speed profiles and high-speed stability throughout the production process are ensured by energy-efficient servo drives. This flexibility enables the efficient production of small batch sizes.

Maximized process stability
The outstanding linear motion arm assures a fast start of article cooling. The moulds are cooled down sideways by separate adjustable airflow pipes, achieving lower temperatures by highly efficient water cooling or via compressed air.

Control System
The S-SERIES is easy to handle: An operator-focused control dashboard permits a comfortable setting for all process parameters. Operator safety comes first: Multiple integrated automatic machine stops monitor several positions during the spinning process and, together with emergency stops, help keep production safe and reliable.

Operational safety
In addition to its waterproof and pollution-resistant electronics, the S-SERIES features heavy-duty, water-cooled switch cabinets. The controls are decentralized and placed away from heat and dirt. The central vacuum reduces the noise substantially.
